June 9, 2023 – The 9th Grand Award Ceremony of Corporate Governance Evaluation is held at Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation today. This is the fifth time that Nanya Technology Corporation (“NTC”) earns the Top 5% ranking in the evaluation. NTC also ranks top 10% among listed electronics companies with market capitalization of NT$10 billion or more.
The 9th Corporate Governance Evaluation was participated by a total of 1,662 companies, including 928 companies listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (“TWSE”) and 743 companies listed on Taipei Exchange (“TPEx”). In this annual assessment, 46 TWSE-listed and 37 TPEx-listed companies were selected for the top 5% ranking, and 21 electronics companies with market capitalization of NT$10 billion or more had outstanding governance performance among peers. NTC is honored to be recognized for its continued efforts and achievements in upholding shareholders' rights and treating shareholders fairly, strengthening the composition and operation of the Board of Directors, enhancing information transparency, and promoting sustainability development.
Over the years, NTC has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index, FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index, TWSE Corporate Governance 100 Index, and TWSE RAFI® Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index. These results demonstrate the company's ongoing dedication to strengthen corporate governance and sustainability management.
