“N.P.C’s acquisition of FATC’s shares will be able to strengthen the cooperation in the continued development of IC substrates and circuit boards, and improve operating performance in the future, on top of the financial investment plan”, said Nan Ya PCB President,” Mr. Ann-De Tang.
“With the new applications such as 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and Internet of Vehicles, FATC will need the development and introduction of advanced packaging technology. NTC and N.P.C’s participating in investment will bring the closer cooperation among parties. This will accelerate FATC’s technology development capabilities to meet the further needs of the future smart trend. We believe this strategic partnership will further enhance overall efficiency through vertical integration; and this transaction will not affect the shareholders' equity of FTC”, said Formosa Taffeta Corporation’s President, Mr. Ming-chang Lee.
