Dec. 8^th 2023－Nanya Technology (Ticker: 2408) was selected into the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Emerging Markets Index (Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment Category) again with leading scores in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). “DJSI has been a preeminent indicator of corporate sustainability around the globe,” said Nanya Technology’s President, Dr. Pei-Ing Lee, “We began from corporate’s social responsibilities and developed into a growing network with suppliers and industry partners. Ranking the top among memory companies for the sixth consecutive year, Nanya Technology obtained full scores in several categories of the CSA, including Business Ethics, Policy Influence, Tax Strategy, Information Security, Product Quality, Product Stewardship, Customer Relationship Management, Privacy Protection, Talent Planning and Analytics. In addition, the Company also scored highly in Supply Chain Management, resulting from persistent communication with suppliers to foster consensus on sustainability. We regularly organise seminars and conduct audits to create closer collaboration with suppliers. With continuing focus on responsible mineral sourcing, GHG emission reduction, water resource management, and biodiversity, we aim to further enhance supply chain resilience.

Nanya Technology also takes proactive actions to communicate with stakeholders. We regularly participate in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) climate change and water surveys each year. In 2023, we released our 13^th Sustainability Report, and the second TCFD Report, and the first Human Rights Protection and Due Diligence Report. The disclosures not only create more transparency, but demonstrate our commitment to powering a sustainable future.
