In view of the Company's long-term strategic development, we continue to work with the relevant authorities and assess potential sites for future expansion. Any decision regarding the new fab will be disclosed according to regulations.
2. In response to the news reported by Liberty Times on August 14, 2026 regarding " An Engineer Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Nanya Technology Trade Secrets for Job in China", the Company provides the following statement:
Nanya Technology strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy against any infringement or unauthorized use of the Company's intellectual property, as well as any theft, disclosure, misappropriation, or improper use of the Company's trade secrets, and will pursue all appropriate legal remedies against responsible parties.
