Nanya Validates DDR3 for Broadcom BCM7445 Ultra HD Video Decoder Solution

Taoyuan, Taiwan — May 26, 2014 — Nanya Technology Corporation, the industry leading pure-play consumer memory solution provider, today announced Nanya’s 30nm 4Gb DDR3 has been validated for Broadcom Corporation’s BCM7445 Ultra High Definition (HD) video decoder solution.

The award-winning BCM7445 Ultra HD system-on-a-chip, Broadcom’s flagship UltraHD video decoder solution, serves as the primary gateway to the home. The BCM7445 delivers more transcoding, CPU processing performance and home networking throughput to support a greater range of applications such as video-on-demand (VoD), gaming, social media and web store applications. Broadcom's UltraHD SoC solutions form a complete offering for cable operators and OTT providers to bring the superior speed, clarity, texture and color of 4K content to viewers around the world.
