Taoyuan, Taiwan, Feb. 20, 2003- Nanya Technology Corp. today announced the Double-Data-Rate 400 SDRAM (DDR400 SDRAM) memory devices and PC3200 DDR Dual In-line Memory Modules (DIMM).
Nanya adds a DDR400 256Mb SDRAM component to its DDR SDRAM portfolio. The DDR400 device, providing improved performance over current DDR333, will be 100% compliant with Intel specification and supports a CAS latency of 2.5. The memory device is manufactured using 0.14u process technology and is available in x4, x8, and x16 configurations in industry standard TSOPII packaging. DDR400 will be good for high speed mainstream computing application as well as consumer graphic application. Nanya 16Mx16 DDR400 memory is selected by major graphic engineering customer to support its products.
Nanya also introduces its PC3200 unbuffered Dual-Inline Memory Modules (DIMM). Based on the DDR400 memory components, these DIMM are available in 128MB, 256MB, and 512 MB densities. Nanya’s PC3200 DIMMs will support Intel’s new dual channel platforms that take advantage of the increased speed in order to increase overall system performance.
