“International Coastal Cleanup Day” is on the third Saturday of September. This year, Nanya Technology and its sustainable partners, including Nanya Plastics, Advantech, Compal Electronics, Inc., LITE-ON Technology, and Samsung Electronics, called on more than 500 colleagues and their families to start a beach cleanup action at Xialiao Beach on the north coast, hoping that people will reduce the habit of using disposable plastic products, and arouse the public's attention to the marine waste issue. On the day of activity, a total of 500 volunteers picked up 910.7kg of garbage.
Since 2019, Nanya Technology has devoted itself to environmental conservation through actions such as beach cleanup with sustainable partners. Since 2020, we expand our response to the issue of "Doing one thing for the Tamsui River", and continue to plan activities such as removing alien species, cleaning beaches, and cleaning mountains.
