Nanya Technology Named to Dow Jones Sustainability Index Company’s First Appearance on Emerging Markets Index

September 18, 2018 - Nanya Technology Corporation (“NTC”, TWSE: 2408) today announced it has been inducted in the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index (DJSI) of the Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment Industry for the first time as an index component. The inclusion of NTC is a strong affirmation on NTC’s positive efforts on corporate sustainability in managing economic, environmental and social performance.

The DJSI tracks the top 3,500 global market capitalization companies. This year, for Semiconductors and Semiconductor Equipment Industry group, a total of 78 firms were included in the assessment and only 3 companies made the DJSI Emerging Market index. Moreover, NTC scores the highest in 5 out of 21 categories, which are “Innovation Management, Product Quality and Recall Management, Environmental Policy and Management Systems, Materiality and Risk & Crisis Management”.
